Achoo
you
What I say when people sneeze instead
of the usual "God bless you." |
 |
Ah
chi ba
A random exclamation that doesn't really
mean much. For example, I'll say it when getting in a car or in place
of sighing. Any resemblence to a real language is merely coincidental. |
 |
Allergetic
What I say I am when I'm all sneezy
and stuff.
|
 |
Cranky
How I describe myself when I'm not
feeling too happy and am irritable. Yeah, I know that's close to the
real description, but I just use it a lot. |
 |
Craving
An intense need for a specific foodsomething
not to be taken lightly. Simply mentioning a food sometimes gives
me a craving and it can last for weeks until I get it. My friend Sandy
says that I'd make a great pregnant woman. |
 |
Disshelved
Looking stressed, doing a million things
at a time. |
 |
Emotional
hangover
What you have after a tough and draining
emotional night involving a lot of crying. The next day, you feel
exhausted and have a big headache. |
 |
Evolving
Nicknames
I start with a certain nickname and
change it little by little. Like my friend Kuntai, I call Buntai,
and then Bunty; Laura to Flora to Flor-head; Mark to Ibanyez to Ebonics... |
 |
Freak
What I say when someone does or says
something really weird. |
 |
Frigid
air
Used when it's really cold outside.
It used to be just frigid, but people laughed at me for my use of
the word. Now the extended term somehow makes more sense to people
by sounding like a refrigerator brand. |
 |
Fruffy
(Pronounced "froofie") Obtained
from my friend Holly. It's an adjective that means something fancy.
It is often used to describe expensive looking restaurants or clothes
(odd combination, I know). |
 |
Gopper
(go pur)
Just a random name I called someone
sometime. I just blurted it out once and I have no idea where it came
from, but I kept using it. |
 |
Gathering
A party or get-together of some sort.
When my friend had a birthday party, she had a "gathering" at her
apartment that night. |
 |
Ho
What I call some girl that I don't
think is very nicehas nothing to do with her sleeping around
As in "she's such a ho!" |
 |
Ho
ho bean
A friendly, generic name I used for
some of my girl friends on occassion. |
 |
Hormonal
stuff
How I refer to any physical form of
affection. |
 |
Humbug
A word I use when I'm mildly unhappy about something or stressed.
Recently evolved to "humbuggy." |
 |
Nicknames
I create nicknames for almost everyone
I know: from Buster to Freakazoid to Mommy Lady to Au Jus to Nut Case...
|
 |
Nutty
coconut
What I call some people when I feel
they're being sillyor just because. Sometimes it's shortened
to "nut" or "co-co." Rumor is I even have a song
for it. I wonder if Almond Joy would be interested... |
 |
Osculating
Most people use the word "kissing,"
but I use this. I got it from one of those "word-a-day" calendars
when I just didn't like the popular word. I still use it and every
once in a while people ask me what the heck I'm referring to.
|
 |
Party!
An exclamation I use when things are
going well. Almost an antonym for "humbug." Ocassionally
followed by "pizza party." (I think it was from a chessy
game commercial when Iwas youngerno pun intended.) |
 |
Reflexive
comments
That in itself is not what I say. It's
a type of conversation where I throw back what someone has said back
at them. Not in a mean waysometimes it comes out funny and sometimes
it makes sense, but it's mostly random. Here's an example:
Somebody: "This food is really great."
Me: "You're really great!" |
 |
Sha
ba
Another random exclamation. I pretty
much use it when something cute or lovey happens (usually when I'm
watching TV).. |
 |
Shaboogee
Another random exclamation. I used
to use it with babies, but now it's just an everyday one. |
 |
We-Like
List
The list people are on when they're
being nice and cool. When they aren't they're "off the we-like
list." From my friend Cori. |
